Amsterdam International Fashion Week: Pauline van Dongen

Amsterdam International Fashion Week (AIFW) has kicked off, yesterday to be precise. And I want to introduce you Pauline van Dongen. She showed us innovative shapes and techniques with her collection Kinetic Landscapes. But despite that the clothes are still wearable. This show made me really excited about her work! Miu Miu ft. Hailee Steinfield

A new face + a new photographer, that is the new campaign of Miu Miu shot by Bruce Weber. The young American actress Hailee Steinfield is wearing retro inspired dresses with daisies and lily-in-the-valley prints combined with glitter shoes.
The lovely pictures are taken in an amazing outdoor setting with a clear sense of autumn. The shoes lying around and eating pizza in a gown make this a innocence still sophisticated campaign. Very Miu Miu!

As I'm a huge fan of masculine/feminine I was pleased with the spring 2011 Dries van Noten collection, where Dries introduced the boyfriend blazer, or even bigger. And the bigger the better right? Also Stella McCartney did me a favor this season (fall 2011) with blazers to knee height and broad shoulders.
And what's nicer to see a woman wear menswear with confidence?
