Grease-style comes back: with polkadots, leather jackets, bow heels and a small scarf. The hair is in a ponytail, with long earrings and a lot of eyeliner. And of course the fierce red leather peg pants (Balmain did a long red leather skinny)!

After: Balmain spring/summer 2011

Create an American chic look with a ripped and burned denim peg. Combine it with a loose tanktop or corset, an embellished jacket with safety pins or studs and your hair down. A very clean look, but very sexy.

Sorry for the lack of posts lately, but I just (yesterday) came back from a little vacation at Texel (a Dutch island in the Northsea).

It's early in the morning, so I have to show you morning beauty and Dutch proud Doutzen Kroes in an editorial for Allure Magazine. So that explains the name of this post. In this shoot Burberry, Giambattista Valli, Bottega Veneta, Calvin Klein and Chanel are represented.

Etnic Minimalistic

And then we go to Milan. Where minimalistic took over on a few shows, think about Jil Sander and Fendi. And Prada did that (with stripes and Josephine Baker in mind).

Bananas, sombreros and monkeys. Miuccia made Mexico and Africa connected with minimalism. And she did it well!

Plastic Fantastic

These Brian Atwood Balleto platforms with crystal-embellished clear plastic and black leather are a feast for the eyes. I would die to get them, seriously!

Lanvin For H&M

The first picture of the Lanvin for H&M collection has been released. Now I'm counting down the days for it hits the stores. I'm not gonna lie for hours and hours for a shop to get in, but I'm gonna try to get it online. Fingers crossed!

I would love to see Dakota Fanning wear one of those lovely dresses.
